Serie A Talk: AC Milan Denies Singaporean Businessman Bid
Associazone Calcio Milan (AC Milan) have pounded media report of a Singaporean businessman takeover attempt of the club.
Peter Lim, a Singaporean businessman was said to bid for the Serie A club for €300m, which Barbara Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani announced in front of the press in Italy had no basis.
“In general, regardless of the stories that have appeared today, the figures stated are not in line with the real value of the club, €300m would be worth around 30% of Milan, certainly not 51%,” the CEO of the club said.
Barbara Berlusconi's repeated that of her father and club owner, Silvio Berlusconi, who had reportedly valued the club at closer to €1bn.
Since the Berlusconi's club acquisition in 1986, AC Milan has established themselves as one of the greatest teams in Europe. But so far, the Rossoneri’s has been disappointing their fans with the club’s status suffering in mid-table under Clarence Seedorf’s leadership.
Meanwhile, the Singaporean businessman was after the takeover of Valencia and was recently seen in a PSG match over the weekend.
